First assembled in 1974 in a factory in Garden Grove, CA. Began trying to learn to tattoo in 1994 in Irvine, CA. Began apprenticing at HB Tattoo in 1995 in Hunt Beach, CA. Tattooed professionally at HB Tattoo from 1996 to 1999 then worked at Skin Deep Tattoo in Waikiki from 1999 to 2000 on Oahu. Then worked at Tiki Tattoo in Waikiki from 2000 to 2001 on Oahu, HI. Took a few months off after moving back to California. Then moved to English Ink location in early 2002 to present.
I enjoy doing traditional American, Traditional Japanese, anime, and new school inspired color tattoos mostly. My work has appeared in various Tattoo Magazines over the years. I attend about 5-6 conventions every year, mostly in California, where to date I have won 2 Best of Show sleeve awards, a 2nd place sleeve award, and 1st place flash award. In 2004 I began seriously perusing machine fabrication after building on other people's frames for years.
As far as the future is concerned, I see myself continuing to push my drawing machine and technical aspects of the art as much as possible and enjoy my job and family. |
